As I've begun to blog my progress with my journey with One Little Word this year, I'm delighted to find there are several friends who have chosen to play along. Every journey is made more enjoyable when friends are along for the ride! I know that some have opted to sign up for the class at Big Picture, and others are doing what I've done the past several years and are simply doing it on their own.
For those folks in particular, I thought I'd share some additional resources you might find to be handy. And for everyone else, I extend the invitation to join us! It's a bit of self-discovery, some self-actualization, and a fantastic way to focus your energies as we begin a new year.
For info on what the heck this project is about, there's the One Word Archive on Ali Edwards' blog.
If you're having trouble choosing a word, the best thing to do is peruse the word lists. Ali compiles a giantnormous list of everyone's words and posts it on her blog. All you have to do is scan through the list until you find something that resonates with you.
A new resource someone in the OLW class just shared with us is the Word of the Year Worksheet from Christine Kane. I'm excited about sitting down with this tool and using it as a journaling prompt to gain some clarity about why I've chosen to focus on LISTENing this year.
There ya go - hope that helps! As I come across other stuff, I'll share it here.
And I promise, I won't just be blogging about OLW stuff ... I'm just on a bit of a kick right now. You know how I am.

It has taken all month for me to really LISTEN and figure out who, what and why I am listening and take photos to go with this word! This is a hard word; I too thought I would change my word {Listen} but, I truly believe that God chose this word for us!!! So, peace to you and I love what you did with your word!!! Be still and know ... one of my favorite verses! If I only could be still! Thank you for your inspiration!
